mom’s paper quilling course

this weekend, amazingly, i’ve been home and not going anywhere. i usually spend my weekend with my boyfriend, but for some reasons, this weekend i don’t. i am home doing some chit chat with my family and i feel i am a real family member after i spend 7am – 11pm working + hang out monday – friday.and the last?? time i spend my weekend with mom was like few months ago when i accompanied her to take a paper quilling course session of craftmania in Jalan Bungur Besar 5 No., just let me show u what kind of cool activity it was.Quilling or paper filigree is an art form that involves the use of strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to create decorative designs. The paper is wound around a quill to create a basic coil shape. The paper is then glued at the tip and the coil shaped, these shaped coils are arranged to form flowers, leaves, and various ornamental patterns similar to ironwork. (source: wiki).

and this is mine when my brother’s girlfriend and i were trying to make one.
